
I don’t know about you guys, but the first thing I think of when I think Mitsubishi is the Lancer Evolution; a lean mean rally machine. However, with the changing times come the changing of peoples minds. Instead of the need for speed, Mitsubishi is finding more and more people have the need for green.
What you see above is the Japanese automakers entrance into the fully electric market. Entitled the i MiEV (no I don’t know how to pronounce it either), the Smartcar lookin’ vehicle will feature all eletric components, and thats about all we know.
It’s expected to go on sale in Japan in 2010 with an American version coming in 2011.
