Mitsubishi and the NHTSA have just announced a recall for 56,113 2004 Endeavors. The problem lies within the reinforcing bracket and fuel filler pipe. Much like many other similar problems both parts could potentially become corroded which could then lead to a leak in the fuel filler pipe which could potentially cause a fire which is never fun.

The vehicles that will qualify for the recall are ones sold or registered in the following states:

Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Washington, D.C., North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Arkansas, Tennessee and North Carolina.
