One brand line of Mitsubishi that has slowed down a bit in recent years is the Mitsubishi Pajero. This original SUV which initially brought hardiness and luxury to the off-road era, has not offered much through the years. However, one may be surprised at the retained projection of excellence as far as this vehicle still provides to this day.
But now, the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been reportedly up for release in the Middle East. A lot of trucks and SUVs are high in demand over there and apparently this is the market where Mitsubishi wants to penetrate.
There’s been a Pajero Sport before and it’s known as the Challenger in some markets. But it’s new to us in the Middle East. In fact it was revealed at the Moscow car show last year and will be sold in Russia, Australia, South East Asia, South America, Latin America and of course, here in the Middle East.
It features a 3.5-litre V6 producing 184bhp mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. It comes with ‘Super Select 4WD’ and hybrid type Limited-Slip Differential (LSD) all mounted on a rigid ladder frame.
