MINI tells drivers not to drive June 5th
In cooperation with the UN, MINI has decided to urge drivers not to use their cars and find other forms of transportation on June 5th. MINI is calling the day Let’s Not Motor Day while the UN is called it World Environment Day.
Whatever you call it, you are urged not to use any form of vehicle transportation and use “our own power instead of horsepower” to get around. You know, I don’t think this is a half bad idea now let’s just see how many people actually follow it.
If you really want to get involved MINI has put up a site where people can pledge miles that won’t be driving. Good initiative MINI, good initiative.
