Mercedes-McLaren 999 Red Gold Dream
Obviously the owner that commissioned this car used discretion and restraint in his selections, right down to the 24k gold-coated wheels! A great deal of modifications have been made to the Mercedes-McLaren SLR to reach the 999 Red Gold Dream standard, and about 5 million Swiss francs (approximately $4.3 million) have been poured into the car. The modifications consist of a new front spoiler, as well as many other aesthetic and aerodynamic modifications.
There is also a giant rear wing and a custom rear diffuser. Gold obviously plays a big part in this car, as all of the manufacturer logos have been replaced with solid gold replicas. Even the stunning red paint job has gold flecks in it. While work on the car’s engine isn’t completed yet, the Swiss tuners from Ueli Anliker have big plans for the SLR ‘999′.
