One of the first things you think of when you think of a Lamborghini is probably: gas guzzler. Due to their extreme amounts of power it’s no wonder these super-cars MPG isn’t exactly up to pay with say a Toyota Prius. However, Lamborghini may be hoping to change that because word has it, the Italian manufacturer is considering a hybrid and/or diesel model at some point in the future.
What is you see above is the Estoque, a concept car unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, but what is strange about it? Well, for starters it’s a front-engine, RWD 4-door sedan, AND it’s a Lambo. Making note of the move towards more environmentally friendly cars, the front mounted engine in the Estoque could quite possibly be a diesel engine.
This means that instead of seeing Lamborghinis in only rich neighbors, a fuel-friendly low cost car could possibly hit the market at some point. Sounds crazy right? $30,000 Lamborghini anyone?
