Car sales in India rose an annual 4.2 percent in April, an industry body said on Monday, helped by improving financing and demand from rural markets. Companies sold 102,899 cars during the month, compared with 98,752 cars a year ago, data from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) showed.
