IKEA isn’t the first non car company to expand its horizons and design its own car, so there is a quite a possibility that the Swedish furniture company could be just a week away from revealing a brand new concept car. A new website displaying the silhouette of the car next to its alleged designer, Christophe Grozs, has just been launched, and features a ticking countdown that reveals the car’s unveiling will fall on April fool’s day.
This promotion is aimed at the French market and is being run in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), which hints that the concept could be a new eco-friendly model. The only official details are that the car will be called the Leko and will have a modular design that can function as either a coupe or convertible.
