Honda has a new Global Hybrid scheduled to go on sale in spring 2009. The Insight is going to be Toyota’s Prius enemy.
The Insight is based on the FCX Clarity fuel cell car and it will be show soon at this year’s Paris Motor Show. The hybrid will apparently sell for about $18,500 next year which will make it the least expensive hybrid in the world so far. Honda wants to sell 200,000 units a year with half of those going to the U.S. market.
