Goodbye Tesla Roadster
Come next year, we may be seeing the last of the Tesla Roadster. This was revealed after “tooling changes” were identified as the reason for the Roadster and Roadster Sport EV’s exit by 2011. With this development, Tesla will be left with nothing until 2012 when their Model S sedan comes out. Also, there is a two-door sporty supercar expected to come out by 2013.
Could this be a business tactic to try and fend off some losses in light of the current recession? Well it could be. Why else would you hold off development and production of cars in the market until 2012?
