All of the most reliable cars are made over seas, right? Well, maybe GM will look a little better in the eye of the consumer now that they will be opening an engine plant in India. Then again, all of the Made in the USA only folk are sure to bicker over this one.
The new engine plant will be located in Talegaon, metaphorically right down the road from their new car plant that is expected to start production next week.
While there was no word on what exactly the capacity is of this new engine plant, it was made known that their new Indian car plant will have an output capacity of 140,000 new vehicles, not too shabby.
