If you weren’t aware, back in 2005 GM had begun adding a corporate logo to their entire lineup of vehicles, it was said to be a “Mark of Excellence”. Well, back then GM had 8 brands but now they are down to 4 leading the company to believe it’s no longer necessary to remind folks that their vehicles are made by them.
Autoblog reports that vehicles such as the 2010 Camaro and Equinox already feature the emblem but will most likely not feature it once the current inventory is exhausted. This is most likely a smart move by GM considering their not so great publicity as of late (read: bankruptcy) but if/when we see GM return to greatness the question arises if these emblems will make a return.
