Electric plane takes maiden flight
No, it’s not a car but it’s innovative technology and that’s exactly what this industry needs — An aircraft designer by the name of Tom Peghiny is proud to announce that he has taken his e-Spyder electric airplane on it’s maiden flight at an altitude of 400 feet and speeds of up to 55MPH.
Don’t think that this technology is limited to the ultra rich, like some things, as Peghiny says the e-Spyder will be ready to hit the market at a price tag close to $24,000. Best of all, it doesn’t require a pilot’s license.
I think it’s needless to say but, I want one.
