Diesel-powered AMG by 2011

AMG exec Volker Morningweg, has recently confirmed that the world will in fact see a diesel powered car from AMG by 2011.

This comes as great news to auto-enthusiasts who hate the idea of sacrifcing performance due to cleaner running cars.

Whos to say other auto-manufacturers won’t follow suit and release high-performance energy efficient cars? 300HP Toyota Prius anyone?
