Concept DOT
The Concept DOT is reminiscent of the stackable cars concept and it does appear to operate similarly to MIT’s concept as well. This zero emission vehicle moves on three wheels and uses electromagnetic motors to propel itself. When on the road, it is capable of networking with other vehicles, and even allows attaching of similar vehicles. Once again, something similar to MITs stackable concept.
The departure comes when the vehicles actually “attach.” The doors on connecting DOTs can be opened to create a common interior space thus allowing more space in the vehicle. The Concept DOT was designed by Varun Niti Singh.
