With GM putting the gas-guzzling HUMMER up for auction it’s no wonder that Chrysler would follow suit with their Dodge Viper. That is, if rumors are to be believed.
Due, again, to raising gas prices, Chrysler has begun talks of selling everything regarding the car to a third party. What exactly “third party” means, we aren’t sure of at this point it could be a foreign (or domestic?) car manufacturer or perhaps a tuning company.
Rest easy though as Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli assures all Viper enthusiasts that he will be working closely with whomever does end up buying the car model to make sure it stays true to its roots. You go Bob!
