Well in case you won’t get that electric Mini E you might want to switch to a Cube. And how about a 2010 Nissan CUbe? The third-generation Cube has been launched in Japan, USA and Eurobe. Actual sales will start on November 26th in Japan while the U.S. will get it in spring 2009. If Europe is your favorite continent, the Cube will only make it there in fall 2009. Pricing starts at $14,968 for the 2WD and at $17,433 for the 4WD model. Why would you need 4WD on a car that small anyway?

In case you’re wandering what that car is supposed to do, I’ll be happy to let you know it’s an all terrain Russian Police car which will follow you anywhere. Those six wheels will surely master any surface and I doubt any criminals will be able to escape it. No matter if you’re downtown Moscow or somewhere far east in the middle Siberian winter, this Vityaz Transporter Police car will track you down.

The picture here shows a Ford Fiesta Sedan doing some testing in little old China. The Fiesta Sedan will look like the Verve Concept you might have seen at last year’s Detroit Auto Show. Mazda 2 will appear to be similar but hey, certain cars happen to end up looking the same all the time. Well then will we see the new Fiesta at next year’s Detroit Auto Show and then we’ll talk some more. Do we like it so far? Well no we don’t! Not with all those clothes on it!

It’s not concept day today but since we have already seen a solar car, why not take a look at a wind car too? The Wind Light Vehicle has a giant wing on the hood which could be used for making the whole car move. The wing can be used in an upright position or it can be detached for getting some high winds. You know, like a kite. An electric motor in each of the three tires which will also power the car if there’s no wind available.

I’d like to see a race between the wind and the solar car. What do you think?

Like what you see in the picture? It’s a solar concept car which has its wings wide open and waiting for the sun to power its cells. The Helios, that’s its name, is a tine car and not that pretty. It was designed by Kim Gu-Han and it has gotten him the Best Use of Technology award at the 2008 Interior Motives Design Awards.

The solar fan unfolds when the car is stopped but that doesn’t mean the car would be easily driven. Besides that it might only hit Martian land in the distant future so I ask you again, like what you see in the picture?

Renault is planning to develop new electric cars for the future. We’re going to have three models available by the 2012 Olympics in London. That’s the event where the French manufacturer will want to have the electric vehicles displayed.

We are looking at the electric version of the Kangoo MPV, the Megane sedan and a small city car based on a new platform. Renault plans to use these new models in London so they plan to set up charging station around London ready to replace batteries in about 5 minutes in case you failed to charge them overnight. You will get some 100 miles of range of each battery so the new electric Renault sound pretty good to me.

Watch out folks, the device in the picture above is not a car. But it’s a Honda that will get you places. Based on the Honda Asimo or not, this product might be just the thing some people will require in order to properly walk from point A to B. The walking assist device will help people to reduce the weight on the legs when going up or down the stairs. The car maker has started to test the device already to see if it’s all working fine.

The device will help you sit, carry your excessive body weight and the assisting force. A lithium ion battery will give out juice for about 2 hours or walking or so. After that you’d have to fuel the legs! How much will one of this Honda legs? Time will tell!

The 2010 Pontiac G8 ST concept car in the picture looks remarkable. Is it a Sedan? Is it a light truck? Is it both? Whatever it is, it’s ready for SEMA. We’re going to see it later down the road, read 2009, in various dealerships too.

Moller International is a name you should remember. It might just be the company that invents the first flying car. Based on the $350,000 Ferrari 599 GTB, the Autovolantor will be one of the greatest cars ever to have been built.

The car will be available to take off vertically and hover with help of eight powerful thrusters which will send air down. The car is then tilted and then it flies. Back to the future anyone? The Autovolantor should be able to get at 100 mph on the ground and 150 mph in the air.

The thrusters will be powered by a hybrid fuel and they will get as much as 800 hp. It will fly up to 5,000 feet and you will probably need a flying permit to drive one. Any thoughts? Anyone?

The Arash AF-10 looks like a toy car but it’s a very much real supercar. The AF-10 will have an LS3 or LS9 V8 engine and it will weigh around 2600 pounds. Its chassis is being built around now and the car will be available by Christmas. I’m not sure you’re going to be able to get one soon since it costs £170,000, but in case you saved enough, the car will be ready for sale next summer.

The Chevrolet GPiX is a concept crossover which was revealed earlier this week at the Sao Paulo Auto Show. The car was designed at GM’s Brazilian design center and it’s using the global design of Chevy.

What we like? The 17 inch wheels and the panoramic glass roof which will make you not want to drive the car. We’d certainly take it out for a spin if the model was available. Bluetooth, hand-held computeds, a CD player and MP3 player are going to improve your driving experience. What say you?

Are you ready for SEMA? Pontiac sure is and it has a wild concept for it. The Pontiac Solstice has bee seen before at the Sostice Weekend Club Racer back in 2005. The Solstice GXP-R has been seen in 2006. The Solstice SD-290 concept was shown last year.

2008 is the year in which Pontiac is going to show you the Solstice GXP Coupe Concept. If you’re in Vegas next week then go ahead and take a live look at it. If not, then wait for our coverage of the event itself to find out more about the the GXP.

The Saab BlackBird concept car in the picture here might never be more than just a concept. The car is inspired in the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance plane. The car’s made out of solar-friendly material. That’s right your virtual BlackBird would have four electric motors, one for each wheel, all powered by the sun.

Inside the car we’re going to have an LCD display for the driver and a communication panel for the passenger’s seat. The seats are adjustable to fit the occupants.

The Saab concept looks rather bold. It would be fun to see it on the street. But would you actually buy one if given the opportunity?

It might really pay off to buy a hybrid. Why is that? Well according to a recent concept idea, your hybrid car might be able to store energy which would be used by your city grid. The notion, V2G or vehicle to grid, will allow vehicles to plug in the city grid while parked and used as a buffer to store power generated in off hours which would be used during peak hours.

That certainly sounds too futuristic but it will all be possible one day. At leas you’ll end up getting some free energy out of it.

The car in the picture is the Mercedes-Benz Formula Zero Concept race car of the future. It was designed by the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Center in North America and you will might just see it in action sometime in 2025. I’d assume in 2025 we won’t have any gas but we won’t need any. We will rely on wind power and some electrical engine to power up this baby and send it on the future Formula 1 tracks. I am totally into this concept. I’d sure like to drive one but I’d have to wait about 15 years to even see one emerge.

The Tesla electric car is quite an innovative car. Its Model S is an all-electric, five passenger sports sedan car which will sit on a Tesla original platform. The 2010 model will get you no less than 240 miles per charge which is quite a lot. The Model S will get to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds. Add to that its looks and you will end up with a price containing lots of zeros and one six! It will cost $60,000. But as always, think about all that gas you’re going to be saving! I’ll buy this Tesla in a heartbeat! All I need now is $59,999 to get one!

While we’re looking for cheaper cars, cheaper gas and faster hybrids, some people could end up driving this Aston Martin DB7 made out of gold. Well not exactly made out of gold. A 24-carat gold-platinum alloy has been used for adding some resistance to those parts. I wouldn’t advise driving that car anywhere but your private highway. After all you should afford your private road since you are able to buy such a car. And don’t even think about public parking. People would definitely scratch some of that gold off!

The golden DB7 will be arrive at London’s MPH car show next week so if you’re in town, check this monstrosity out!

We have more concept cars for you so bear with us. The Bugster is a fiat concept car which will be launched at the Sao Paulo International Auto Show. It looks like a great ride and I’d certainly pick it up over the Insecta we’ve seen before. And with the Bugster you’ll be able to get yourself a date and drive her/him around.

This concept car should also be environment friendly. We don’t have any details but the Sao Paolo Auto Show should get us all the specs we need. Let’s see if Fiat will send the Bugster to massve production.

The concept car of today is this Insecta car in the picture above. It was designed by a 22-year-old Taiwanese student at Chen Kung University. It’s a single seat car which means you’ll have a hard time picking up any girls in it. It has leg-like suspension arms which can be lowered or risen depending on traffic and road conditions.

The concept is powered by a motor at each wheel with the battery pack sitting near the center of gravity. Whenever it will be picked up, we’re going to be close by, looking for more specs.

Here’s a concept car of the future. I’d love playing with one of these. It looks good and it must perform well enough. The Gamma concept car uses polycarbonate and composite materials to create lighter, stronger and fuel efficient cars. Like we didn’t hear that before.

The Gamma seems ready to show it all. It has transparent areas which reveal the engine and the whole inside. You will never feel more transparent than this. OK then! Where do I find one and how much would cost me?
