Honda seems to be banking a lot on the CUV Accord Crosstour, and it is easy to see why. The EPA seems to be giving it good numbers, and the EX-L has all-wheel drive, with luxury goodies and such. Honda!
A few days ago we showed you Honda’s U3-X personal mobility device, a gadget that has been probably inspired by the Segway. Today we have found the perfect box to store the U3-X. And we like to call it the Honda EV-N electric car concept. That’s right, you heard me correctly! The tiny car in the picture will house that U3-X of yours right inside the door. It’s a two-for-one deal but we have no prices at this point. In fact we don’t even know if these projects are going to make it past the prototype stage but we’ll be back with more details after the Tokyo Motor Show. That’s where you’ll see this dynamic duo emerge.
It’s not a car and it’s not a Segway, but it will still beat walking around! Honda’s U3-X concept is a personal mobility device which will definitely help you move around. Just make sure you sit comfortable and let the U3-X do the all the work for you. Inside that big wheel there are a few smaller wheel that happen to rotate independently. That way you can actually steer. Go forward, backward, side-to-side or diagonally. It’s all possible! You just have to lean in the direction you want to head to. The U3-X is controlled through the Honda Omni Traction Drive System and you can drive it for up to one hour before you’ll have to recharge it. And at four MPH, the top speed of the device, you’ll be riding comfortably to your next destination.
Okay, we’re all looking for some really big news to bust out of the Frankfurt Auto Show, so let’s sail right into the news we’re expecting to hear:
