Bugatti has recently come forth to announce an additional special edition of their extremely fast Veyron super car entitled the Grand Sport Sang Bleu.

This particular model’s body will be almost entirely made of a combination of tinted carbon fiber and aluminum as you can see in the above picture. Additionally, the Sang Bleu will feature updated rear aisrscoops and special edition rims.

There’s no word if the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu will ever enter production but if/when it does, it’ll most likely be a bit higher than most of us are willing to spend on a car.

There are a lot of crazy people out there who love their car so much that they would do anything. But this practically takes its cue from sleeping with your car. Can you imagine your pad with a practical garage inside? Now that is something worth checking out.

The crazy guy is an architect, Holger Schubert, who practically designed his place to accommodate his Maserati Granturismo. And to sweeten up the garage, he has even added a remote-controlled ramp so that when it is time to use it, he doesn’t have to worry about fumes sticking on the classy interior.

Now before I comment on the above video let me give you a little background on the cars in question. Nissan’s  GT-R has widely been regarded as one of the most technologically advanced cars on the road. Under the hood the GT-R sports a twin-turbocharged V6 engine rated at around 500HP. The Bugatti Veyron on the other hand features a quad-turbocharged W12 engine rated at 1,001HP. Which do you think would win on a 1/4 mile?

It seems obvious but British magazine evo decided to put it to the test, you know, just for kicks. As you can see, the GT-R takes off a bit faster than the Veyron but as both of them near maximum RPMs the GT-R is left looking about as slow as a bicycle.

Which car would you choose to drive? Take into account that the Veyron costs over $1,000,000 while the GT-R costs around $100,000.

Either or, it’s always fun to see two highly sought after cars go head to head down a strip.

First the Oscary Meyer wienermobile gets smashed up and now this — It seems that during, what looks to be, a supercar rally that took place in Moscow, Russia a driver behind the wheel of a Bugatti EB110 lost control resulting in the car being completely demolished, as you can see above.

Sure, it’s not a Veyron but the Bugatti EB110 is a classic peice of machinery with it’s quad-turbocharged 3.5-liter V12 engine capable of 543HP. Couple that with the car’s AWD and you have a top speed of 214MPH and a 0-62MPH sprint of just 3.4 seconds.

When it comes to modified cars like special or limited editions, you know you are getting something special. But when it comes to pricing, brace yourself for the significant price disparity of such vehicles like this special Mansory Vincero which costs, wait for it…..$1 Million!

It is obvious that this car itself will already cost you over $1 Million. But would you pay a million more? You just have to consider the facts:

• There will only be three of them in production
• You Mansory Vincero comes with tons of upgrades such as aerodynamic trim package, new wheels, carbon fiber everything, LED lighting and 108 horsepower.

Now from the figures alone, you know that these three releases will come to the car collectors and the filthy rich. Then again, it may be just be purchased for bragging rights especially for people who consider the cost chump change!

Bugatti Veyron

With its seven-figure price tag, most of us will never get anywhere near a Bugatti Veyron, but for $25,000 we might be able to get a bit closer. In order to do this you can turn to Holders Vehicle Contracts, a rental firm in England. HVC will rent you a Veyron for a mere $25,000 per day, plus a $160,000 deposit.

With those kinds of numbers, it is safe to assume that HVC isn’t likely to be targeting the average joe, but those with the cash to burn, who might not be ready to commit to spending the full million might find themselves in one of these, if just for a day

Through the weeks we have seen quite a number of enhancements to a Bugatti Veryon so it was barely surprising to find that one would come out covered in gold! We have seen a lot of cars such as the Mercedes Benz enshrined in gold come out and apparently the Bugatti Veyron now has its own version. It was spotted at the Gumball Rally 2009.

The 11th Annual Gumball 3000 Rally (May 1-8, 2009) features a coast to coast road trip of 3000 miles, from Los Angeles to Miami. This Veyron has been wrapped by British decal specialists Raccoon. Roll over to see more shots of the golden beauty.

1937 Bugatti Type 57S Coupe

Bonham’s Paris auction recently sold a 1937 Bugatti Type 57S coupe for $4.4 million. The startling thing wasn’t its rusty trim. faded paint and worn interior – it’s that the car’s condition likely hiked up its selling price. A decade ago, a buyer probably would have sent this Bugatti in for a megabuck restoration. According to Rob Sass, a vintage-car expert whose writing has appeared in the New York Times and Sports Car Market magazine, a sympathetic mechanicals-only restoration is the trend these days. “Under the circumstances, restoring the car might well be cause for regret,” notes Sass. Some of this may be due to the influence of PBS’s popular Antiques Roadshow, where objects excavated from attics and basements are brought to experts who often warn owners about cleaning their finds – and possibly polishing off thousands of dollars.

Does that mean every rusty heap is now a preservation-class classic? Hardly, it is the cars that were rare, valuable, and important to begin with that are most valued, cars whose histories are worth preserving in their unaltered, often imperfect, original states.

One out of three vehicles. That is the number associated with the Bugatti Veyron Vincero for the ultra-rich. One thing that wealthy people want is to have rare vehicles to which will get all the attention and of course be exclusively under their ownership. And in the case of this vehicle, you can be sure that you will definitely be at one of three potential owners who will have it (if you have €1.7m (£1.52m)).

With this super-Veyron, you shouldn’t have that problem. Because Mansory, the luxury automotive company that created this Vincero, is building only three. In that rare recession-proof stratosphere, this might just be the best way for the super-rich to show their friends who’s boss. They have Kourosh Mansory to thank. He made his name with loud and proud interpretations of Aston Martins, Bentleys and Rolls-Royces. His customers include Middle Eastern princes, European A-listers and Sylvester Stallone.

Recently he branched out from the British brands, reworking the Ferrari 599 GTB, but there was still the forbidden fruit, the one car no tuning house dared go near: Bugatti’s Veyron. Yet temptation proved too much when Mansory’s importer in Dubai commissioned three special editions. “The Veyron was such a special car, you can’t really win when you tune it, you can only lose,” he said. “But our importer wanted the cars and we knew it would be good publicity, so we decided to go ahead and create something truly special.”

Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang

Bugatti revealed the limited-edition Pur Sang edition of its Veyron at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show and European customers grabbed all five before any American buyers could get a chance. This resulted in Bugatti making the Sang Noir the following year and offer U.S. customers a shot at the limited run of fifteen. However, for those who really had their hearts set on the original polished-aluminum and bare-carbon-fiber Pur Sang edition, you may get that chance as one appears to have come up for sale.

A luxury car dealership in Abu Dhabi has posted an ad of the Pur Sang for sale on its website. No word on price, or even confirmation that this is, indeed, a Pur Sang, but the website does allow you to place the order immediately. Don’t let this one get away!

If rumors are to be believed, Bugatti is prepping an all new car (as in not a Veyron) for release this September possibly at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

There’s really no other information to go by other than this rumor but if we were to take a guess, we’d say this thing would have some sort of ridiculous number for both it’s horsepower output and price. We’re thinkin’ millions.

What you see above is the first ever picture to grace the internet of the Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire. Too bad it’s all we have to go on with no official announcements regarding its engine or anything.

However, if Autoblog’s speculation is correct, this new Veyron model could potentially possess an engine that produces more than the currect models 1000hp and a staggering top speed of 270mph.

But then again, that’s only speculation.

The duPont Registry has chosen the Mansory Vincero Bugatti Veyron for the cover of its prestigious March Issue. Mansory wanted to create a vehicle even more rare and special than an ‘ordinary’ Bugatti Veyron (which retails for a mere $1,800,000), so they souped up the ‘base’ model with $700,000 worth of enhancements, leaving the final creation with an approximate value of $2,500,000. “When you take an existing work of art, infuse even more artistic and performance characteristics, this is what you end up with,” said publisher, Thomas L. duPont. “The Uber-genius designers and engineers at Mansory are masters of this. The culmination of which we are privileged to immortalize on one of our covers.”

Enhancements added by Mansory include optimized air intakes and exhaust system, forged turbine wheels, a new aerodynamic carbon-fiber kit exterior, and upgraded interior luxuries like embossed leather, a new ambient lighting system, and new gear shift paddles. Designer Kourosh Mansory remarked, “We started with a flawless super-car, then added unique and compelling design and performance enhancements that will be appreciated and cherished by a few lucky owners… how exciting is this?” Mansoury Corp GMBH is headquartered in Germany.

It is not everyday you find a rare car, a 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante, hidden underneath a deceased surgeon’s garage. But in the case of the lucky nephews and nieces of Dr. Harold Carr, the discovery is bound to lead to millions of dollars in inheritance if auctioned off to the highest bidder.

There have been speculations on how much this rare car would be priced if auctioned off. Would you believe that it may reach as much as $8.7 million dollars? This 1937 Bugatti Type 57S is one of only 17 in the world! With such a rare type, you can imagine how much car collectors would pay to own it.

This 1937 Bugatti was not the only vehicle discovered at his Tyneside garage. The other vehicles discovered included a Jaguar E-type and an Aston Martin. You can just imagine the fortune that this surgeon spent on these cars. Where else would you spend your earnings if you had no family to share your income with?

Bugatti is getting ready for yet another Veyron version. I am talking about the Veyron Grand Sport “Sang Noir”. The Black Blood (Sang Noir in French) is a version pf the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport targa. Only 15 Sang Noir models are going to be be created in the coupe form. I guess lots of billionaires are going to get lined up to get one. Looking forward for auction news and pricing details.
