The concept car in the picture here is the Cadillac World Thorium Fuel Concept and it what designed for the 100th anniversary of Cadillac. And it might be just one of those cars of the future since it was designed to run for 100 years without getting any fuel. It holds a Thorium reactor which could power your entire house but it will power your Cadillac World for 100 of years:
This vehicle is designed to last 100 years without a fuel-up. The surplus power generated from its Thorium reactor can be used to give back to the grid, power a neighborhood, or recharge other electric battery-equipped devices. Designed with safety in mind, the reactor has multiple scuttle devices to poison the sub-critical reaction in case of extreme abuse, and the reactor’s exterior is designed to withstand all unauthorized or accidental tampering.
So how much would a World cost?
