BMW to debut sustainable sports car at Frankfurt Motor Show

Buzz has been circulating the internet that suggests BMW is gearing up to debut a sports car based on the M1 Hommage concept (pictured above) at this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show.

The car will apparently be made completely from sustainable materials which is BMWs way of remedying the car’s high probability of getting bad gas mileage. We also know that the car will have several BMW EfficientDynamics features such as regenerative breaks and electric powersteering.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on engine specs or even if BMW plans to have this thing hit the streets. But, like always, we’ll keep you posted.
