You remember all the bad press biofuels were getting, right? About how they were causing some culture’s staple foods, like corn and such, to raise dramatically in price?
Well, according to Javier Salgado, CEO of Abengoa Bioenergy, that might be a load of bologna. He is saying that it wasn’t ethanol’s fault at all for the raise in prices, in fact it was oil’s rising price, and the declining economy, that caused the foods to raise in price.
He goes on to say that the oil companies are releasing these synthesized statistics just to make it seem like biofuels are bad for the environement, which is unheard of. Who do you believe?
