The evolution of in-car entertainment seems to have gained another milestone with the announcement that AT&T will be offering an in-car satellite service that will bring 22 channels of satellite TV entertainment. So for people who invest heavily in previous in-car entertainment systems such as LCD TVs and DVD players, you can now have the luxury of watching any program lined-up by AT&T.
However, get your money ready. This service will not come cheap. It seems that you need to shell out $1,299 for the system alone plus a regular $28 a month subscription fee.
The system requires installation of a 3-pound, 11.3-by-10.3-by-4.3-inch antenna on the roof of your vehicle.
