Toyota Mobile Hybrid Experience Events

Toyota_Highway.jpgToyota's traveling display and demonstration of environmentally preferable transportation will be on the road in 20 states between May and September.

It will visit events ranging from the Albany Tulip Festival to the Boston Harborfest, and from the International Festival of Arts & Ideas in New Haven to the Minnesota State Fair.

The Toyota Highway to the Future: Mobile Hybrid Experience delivers information about hybrid cars, technology and alternative fuels, as well as provides the opportunity to test-drive Toyota hybrid vehicles.

The Mobile Hybrid Experience travels the nation's roads in trucks and trailers bearing displays and demonstrations that are hands-on, interactive and fun. The displays show how hybrids work and provide details on the magic of regenerative braking, which generates and stores energy every time a Toyota hybrid decelerates or descends a hill. In another exhibit, you'll see how much carbon you emit with a Carbon Footprint Calculator.

Due to popular demand, the Mobile Hybrid Experience has grown in size and scope. We are featuring roughly twice as many ride-and-drives, so if you are interested in test-driving a Prius, a Camry Hybrid or a Highlander Hybrid, please join us at this season's events!

The Toyota Highway to the Future: Mobile Hybrid Experience is conducted in partnership with the American Lung Association and the Arbor Day Foundation. This nationwide effort expresses Toyota's commitment to finding answers to energy challenges and to improving the earth's environment.

An up-to-date schedule of Mobile Hybrid Experience appearances can be found at highwaytothefuture.com.
