Clarion Introduces New Line Of Overhead Monitors With Built-In DVD
New Monitors Offer All-Inclusive Functionality
Clarion Corporation of America (Clarion), a global leader of mobile electronics entertainment systems, presents is new line of overhead monitors with built-in DVD mechanism. The family of monitors features a sleek, lightweight and slim profile design. Clarion's new overhead monitors allow rear-seat passengers to enjoy visual entertainment without taking up precious space.
According to Ralph Dominguez, senior product planning manager, Clarion Corporation of America, "The trend for consumers is an all-in-one unit. We answered their call with our new family of overhead monitors with built-in DVD mechanism."
The three wide-screen overhead monitors with built-in DVD mechanism support 16:9 and 4:3 wide and full screen adjustable formats with selectable display mode (normal/cinema/wide). They feature on-screen display with built- in L.E.D. dome lights. All three units boast 2-A/V inputs and 1-A/V output. The units also include a built-in IR transmitter for wireless headphones. For rear-seat enjoyment, the OHM family includes wireless headphone(s) and remote.
Featuring front-panel controls and DVD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 playback functionality, the OHM family is designed for any audio/video enthusiast. The OHM family is available in an 8" monitor (#OHM875VD), 10.2" monitor (#OHM1075VD) or a 15.4" monitor (OHM1575VD). MSRP is $ 599.99, $799.99 and $1099.99 respectively; these all-in-one video units are affordable luxury for any enthusiast.
Clarion's new OHM family of overhead monitors will be widely available in 2007.
