The Anti-Hybrid Revolution Has Begun
We've yet to see a freeway shooting promulgated by hybrid-hating road rage, but this LA Times article says people are pissed off about hybrids using the HOV lanes.
The biggest beef is that the eco-smartypants are driving slower in order to maximize their gas mileage.
The other problem is that, since California has the highest number of hybrids sold, they are clogging the diamond lanes, according to the bashers.
But the real problem is that people, and governments, bought the hybrid hype in the first place.
Folks, hybrids are an innovation, not a revolution. They get a little bit better gas mileage, but they're still burning fuel to propel automobiles.
