Do Cops Have a Problem with Snoop Dogg?
While the general public is certainly agog over the Dodge Charger, especially in its cop cruiser clothing, we've noticed a thread on police forums that suggests a significant portion of the blue wall have a problem with sometime spokesman Snoop Dogg.
The thinking goes like this -- while Snoop definitely has cultivated a career as a comedic actor, his gangsta rap rep remains a sticking point for some cops. Comments we've read on several sites indicate that officers are not willing to drive around in vehicles made by a company that pays a man who promotes a thug lifestyle.
No matter what your opinion of cops in general, one thing we know is that they are immune to hip-happy PR BS. They see things for what they are, and if their perception is that Snoop is part of a criminal element, you can bet there will be arguments against buying Dodge Charger police cars.
