This Mercedes Sprinter is a Marathon Van
Klaus Schade has driven this 1995 Sprinter van over half a million miles [900,000 kilometers, actually] in the last ten years without breaking down. We're told this is the equivalent of circling the earth 22 times.
Schade is so happy with his Mercedes that one of the messages on the back of his Sprinter reads: “Over 900,000 km on the clock. You know where you are with Mercedes.”
The Sprinter is sold under the Dodge and Freightliner brands in the States; worldwide DaimlerChrysler has sold over a million units and a new version is being launched next year.
