Get Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive Newsletter

Hybrid_Synergy_Drive_logo.jpgToyota has a newsletter and a minisite touting the advantages of their Hybrid Synergy Drive, and you can sign up to get the regular updates here.

The link to the minisite is at the top of the page, and when you click through one of the first things you'll see is a running counter that tells you how many gallons of gas we've saved thanks to vehicles such as the Prius, which is rated to get an average of 55 miles per gallon.

There's also a fuel economy calculator on the site that will tell you how many gallons of gas you could save annually by going hybrid. Jeanne, a woman in our pottery class, bought a 2005 Prius in May and reports she gets an average of 49 miles per gallon.
