In this episode of
Zero to 120, we've got footage of Bob Swartz's alternative vehicle of choice, "The Blue Smoke Jet Luge."
In case you're wondering, it's exactly what it sounds like -- a street luge outfitted with a jet engine. Swartz has reached 89.5 MPH on his jet-powered boogie board and he's shooting to break the 100 MPH barrier.
Swartz has been profiled in the Washington Post and will appear on an upcoming Discovery Channel bit, and he was kind enough to give us permission to use his footage so the Car Buyer's Notebook audience could have a look.
To watch the episode, you can right click on this link and choose "Save As," or, even better, you can get on the Apple iTunes bandwagon and subscribe to Zero to 120. That way, your computer will automatically download a new episode when we publish!
