Hybrid Tax Incentives Through December 31, 2005
You've got until the end of 2005 to buy a hybrid and get a tasty $2,000 deduction off your taxes under the current rules.
To find out more, here's a link to the EPA page for the overview. Since you'll be dealing with the gubbenment, take no chances! The final arbiter of tax deductions is the IRS, not the EPA and certainly not CBN.
Here's a link to the IRS page on hybrid tax deductions, which states the 2006 deduction will drop to $500.
