Stars Align for 3rd Annual Dennis Quaid Charity Weekend
Quaid & Friends to Meet in Austin for Great Cause
AUSTIN, Texas (June 7, 2005) - On June 16-19, 2005, Austin resident Dennis Quaid will be joined by over forty stars, including 24's Carlos Bernard and Dennis Haysbert, Phil of the Future's Ricky Ullman, Cowboys' legend Ed "Too Tall" Jones, CSI, Miami's Rex Linn, Rescue Me's Jack McGee, the OC's Benjamin McKenzie, Lizzie McGuire's Jake Thomas and Lalaine, comedians Tom Parks and Henry Cho, jazz great Branford Marsalis, The Eagles' Don Felder, PGA Legend Lee Elder, and more for the 3rd Annual Dennis Quaid Charity Weekend, presented by H-E-B.
The event, to be held in Austin, will open on Thursday night, June 16, with a benefit concert featuring Dennis Quaid and his band, The Sharks. The next three days will be non-stop action and fun with a Corporate Challenge Golf Tournament, a Celebrity/Amateur Golf Tournament, and a Celebrity-Only Championship, as well as the Friday night "HUMMER presents ... Lights, Camera, Fashion 3" fashion show and the "Starry, Starry Night Party & Auction presented by the Avery Ranch Home Builders," on Saturday, featuring a performance by Don Felder of The Eagles, under the theme "An Evening at the Hotel California."
