Veddy Veddy Funny Review of the Nissan Murano

It's in The Times of London, and it's Britishly humorous. There's a reason we like their dry wit, especially when they call their elected leaders, "commies." It's a good read by someone who knows cars and hates weenies.

But what I really like about this review is the way he attacks the bias against SUVs and gas guzzlers. We've seen this phenomenon in this country, but in stealth manner in the media -- all that scare stuff about gas prices has been influenced quite a lot by the press' bias against consumption.

For example, there was a story about gas prices hitting $3 a gallon, even though there was no data to back it up. So everyone in the media ran with it, trying to scare people out of buying big SUVs. Then they started writing about people not buying big SUVs. This was a trend the media tried to create from scratch, and then report on it as if it was a spontaneously combusting event. Bollocks!
