Nissan to Build Hybrid Altima in the U.S.

According to Bloomberg, Nissan intends to build a gas-electric Altima at either its Smyrna or Canton plant starting in late 2006. Both factories manufacture the gas version of Nissan's best-selling car. The hybrid edition will be a 2007 model, according to the report.
