Despite learning that the Alfa Romeo MiTo will not be seeing the light of day in the United States, the Italian automaker still has plans to release the Giulia sedan.
“The Giulia is a car that could be the most interesting for the US market,” Cravero told Bloomberg News. “We need to build cars together with Chrysler that have an Alfa Romeo soul. We have to find a solution that makes sense economically. We can’t wait 10 years to see results.”
The Fiat-owned company plans to sell 250,000 units of the model in order to break even. No word on when it will be released.
