50,000 Orders Made for Mercedes Benz E-Class

Just when you thought everyone would be saving up for more important things, it seems some have dipped their hands at buying a Mercedes Benz E-Class. This car does not come cheap and considering that they have been able to sold more than 50,000 models speaks well for the company. And all the while we thought there was a recession. Apparently these are the people who don’t pass up such a luxury vehicle of the Mercedes Benz Brand.

The new aerodynamic look has instant appeal. According to the automaker, there are improvements in engine performance, handling and fuel economy. There are also loads of features in the car like Attention Assist which detects driver drowsiness, the Adaptive Main Beam Assist adjusts headlight angles for the best illumination without blinding other drivers, and the optional Speed limit Assist which recognizes speed limit signs then displays them in the speedometer.

The new E-Class will be offered in a coupe, sedan, convertible and wagon variants, along with the badass E63 AMG just introduced in New York. Der neue E-Class will also be available with a 211 hp, 3.0-liter Bluetec diesel. The last E-class sold over a mil and although it’s pretty early in the game, it looks like this new number may surpass that mark.
