2010 Porche Cayenne S Transsyberia to be Revealed at the 2008 Paris Show

One of the worst move Porsche made was to enter the SUV business. Sure the Cayenne is an exquisite car but when I think of Porsche I think about hot sports cars made for the average mid life crisis and not only. But that’s just me.
Porsche is ready to unveil the 2010 Cayenne Transsyberia this year at the 2008 Paris Motor Show which begins on October 4. This is a limited edition which will have a 4.8 liter direct fuel injection V8 engine taken from the Cayenne GTS which will pull off no less than 405 horsepower. There’s Tittronic S six-speed automatic transmission which will help the SUV reach a top speed of up to 158mph.
The name refers to the TransSiberia Rally race which starts in Moscow, Russia, and ends after 4,460 miles in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This year, the Sony Ericsson French team won the race driving a Porche Cayenne S. Not bad, after all it’s still a Porsche.
The 2010 Cayenne S Transsyberia will be available early next year. Rumored pricing is 77,600 euro or $110,400 in Germany.
