The 2010 Audi R8 V10 is a really, really fast car. With a top speed of 197 MPH, the R8 will do zero to 60 in under 3.8 seconds. The 5.2 liter V10 engine attains a whopping 100.9 horsepower for every liter of engine displacement. Using variable valve timing on each of its four cams, direct fuel injection and a high 12.5:1 compression ratio, this engine delivers 525 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, 80 per cent of which is ready to run at 1,000 rpm. The all-aluminum body construction keeps the monster motor from adding too much weight, and it certainly doesn’t slow this beast down.

Pricing on the 2010 Audi R8 is difficult to predict with the volatility in currency exchange right now, but anyone looking to order isn’t going to be on a budget anyway. Currently a 2009 V8 coupe starts at around $110,000, so by the time the 2010 R8 hits the streets it could be anywhere between $150,000 and $180,000, and possible could go higher than that. At any price the 2010 Audi R8 is sure to sell out, just like the 2009 model did.
