The 2009 VW Jetta TDI is the first diesel to be available all over the U.S in recent years. And it’s the cheapest too, with pricing starting at $21,990. Does this mean Americans will buy more diesel cars?
The 2009 Jetta TDI is available in both sedan and sport wagon. A sedan with manual transmission has a starting price of $21,990 while an automatic DSG it starts from #23,090. Similarly, sport wagon prices start either at $23,590 or $24,690. Depending of what model you drive and where you drive it, you will get performances of 30 mpg and higher which isn’t bad at all for a diesel.
The Jetta TDI looks good and it will offer you a great driving experience. There’s a 2.0 liter TDI engine running under the hood which will satisfy your both your speed and low fuel cost needs.
Drive safe and don’t crash the Jetta, but just in case you do, there are six airbags, there’s four-wheel antilock disc breaks, there’s ESP electronic stability control system and there’s the options of adding rear-sear side airbags too.
And the 2009 TDI is a little hightech too. The new navigation system comes with better graphics, a touch-screen interface, a built-in 30GB hard drive with 10GB for maps and 20GB for music. Yes, there’s iPod connectivity.
