2009 Jeep Patriot

The 2009 Jeep Patriot is a fine-looking vehicle that is based around a car and offers up carlike fuel economy, but it has been engineered it to be able to handle well off-road. The interior of the Patriot has been upgraded as previously, the interior drew critcism for its cheap construction. The ’09 Patriot has addressed some of these complaints and is now spacious and comfortable. The seating position is well off the ground and the rear seat is larger than expected.

Cargo space under the rear hatch is likewise excellent as the flat, low cargo floor makes loading and unloading groceries or boxes a snap. There are some refinement issues such as the engines, they sound especially coarse, the CVT in particular. Although the Patriot has received some decent upgrades, particularly in the interior and some addional sound deadening, compared to some of its competitors, the Patriot can feel a tad unrefined, and honestly it may not be that fun to drive.
