Driving the 2009 Ford Flex can be summed up in one word – Quiet. Not until you reach speeds over 65mph do you notice a slight noise coming from the side mirrors. The ride quality is so controlled that it is not even a factor in experiencing all that the Flex has to offer. That offering includes superbly comfortable front seats that are shaped to provide a wonderfully supportive experience. The second and third row seating is not quite as comfortable.
The second row, which is foldable, provides generous legroom and adequate support. It is the third-row that may cause some adults issues for journeys over half an hour. The fixed glass at the rear of the vehicle can lend itself to a somewhat confining feel. Overall the Flex provides everything you could want in a large family vehicle from the interior materials, to the ride and interior configurations.
