2009 Chevy Traverse
What is a Chevy Traverse? Basically, the 2009 Chevy Traverse is GM’s answer to the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook; a big, fancy SUV designed for families who used to buy station wagons or minivans but now are looking for something more contemporary and less boring. The 2009 Traverse accommodates 7 to 8 passengers in three rows of seats, with extra storage capacity still left over in back.
Offered at three different trim levels (with lots of cup holders at all levels of course), the big SUV can be had with front-wheel- or all-wheel-drive configurations so as to handle any on-road terrain in any part of the country. The 3.6-liter V6 advanced direct-injection engine system helps improve performance and fuel economy, which Chevy swears is 17 MPG city and 24 MPG highway. The 2009 Chevy Traverse has an entry level MSRP of $29,900 but fully loaded it runs closer to $40,000. GM is calling it a crossover, but from a distance it looks like a really big SUV.
