Pontiac may be dead and gone but that doesn’t stop their vehicles from having problems. GM has recently issued a recall for 2009 – 2010 Pontiac Vibes with a 1.8-liter engine.
The problem here is with Vibes in cold environments as when driven in the cold the “intake manifold suction port for the brake vacuum may become locked because of freezing condensation coming from the positive crankcase. In other words, there is a problem that could cause the brakes to improperly function.
GM says to head to your local dealership or call 1-800-620-7668 to get the problem sorted out.
