Last week we let you know that there was a bill currently on the Senate’s table that would effectively allocate 2 billion more dollars for use with the Cash for Clunkers program.
Well, today it was announced that the Senate has officially passed the bill and that it will go into effect immediately. Don’t go thinking you could take all the time in the world to make use of this program as the Obama administration predicts that the cash will only last up until Labor Day.
Considering the rate at which the first $1 billion was spent, it will probably run out even sooner than Labor Day.
