Thanks to an additional $1.5 billion loan, Chrysler LLC will soon be offering 0% financing again in an attempt to move a backlog of 2008 inventory and halt rapidly plunging sales figures before it is too late. Chrysler executives said that will start loaning the 0% interest money immediately, and that additional incentives for buyers will soon follow. “We can now buy credit and get customers in the 620 [credit score] range, which dramatically opens the footprint of customers who can buy from our dealers,” said Jim Press, Chrysler.

Vehicles included in the 0% financing deal include the Chrysler Town & Country minivan, the Chrysler 300 and 300c sedans, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Jeep Commander and Wrangler SUVs, the Dodge Grand Caravan, Dodge Ram 1500 pickups and heavy-duty trucks, and the Dodge Charger, Magnum, and Challenger cars.
